IT WAS THE GUYS THAT CAME AND THEY'RE THE ONES STANDING BEFORE YOU TONIGHT IN THE T-SHIRTS. WE WERE UPSET. WE SAID, "WHAT ABOUT THE GIRLS?" WELL THE GIRLS ARE HERE TONIGHT TOO. WHAT THAT MEANS IS WE'VE HAD STUDENTS WHO HAVE COMPETED LOCALLY AND ONE AT CHESAPEAKE COLLEGE, THEN WENT TO UMBC AND COMPETED IN ONE THERE, AND NOW THEY ARE MOVING ON TO THE NATIONAL, WHICH WILL BE COMPETING NEXT WEEK IN WASHINGTON COLLEGE PARK. WE ARE VERY EXCITED FOR THAT AS WELL. THOSE STUDENTS WHO ARE HERE WITH US TONIGHT, ARIANA ALVAREZ, AND LUCY HOWARD. AND THESE YOUNG LADIES HAVE DONE A PROJECT ON THE BICYCLE AND HOW THE BICYCLE HELPED WITH WOMEN'S RIGHTS IN WHICH THE CONNECTION IS UNBELIEVABLE, SO LADIES, GOOD LUCK NEXT WEEK. JUST A COUPLE OF HIGHLIGHTS. THIS YEAR, WE GRADUATED NEARLY 400 STUDENTS BETWEEN BOTH HIGH SCHOOLS. I DO WANT TO THANK THE ADMINISTRATION AND THE STAFF FROM BOTH OF OUR SCHOOLS, WHO PUT ON AN ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE CEREMONY. I DO WANT TO THANK MR. MENGEL AND HIS CREW. AS YOU CAN PROBABLY TELL, IT'S VERY DIFFICULT TO PREDICT ON A YEAR TO YEAR BASIS HOW MANY CHILDREN WE'RE GOING TO HAVE IN STATE SUPERVISED CARE, SO HOW MUCH THE BILL IS GOING TO BE SO IT'S VERY DIFFICULT TO PREDICT THE BUDGET FOR THIS LINE ITEM. THERE IS AN OVERAGE BASED ON THE BILLS THAT HAVE COME IN THUS FAR. HOWEVER, AS I MENTIONED BEFORE, THERE ARE SAVINGS AND OTHER LINE ITEMS TO COVER THESE OVERAGES AND I'M HAPPY TO REPORT THAT BASED ON MY ANALYSIS AT THIS POINT IN TIME, WE ARE IN GOOD FISCAL SHAPE, AND I WILL BE COMING TO YOU LATER THIS EVENING WITH A LONG LIST OF ONE TIME YEAR END PURCHASES THAT ARE [00:55:01] NEEDS OF THE SYSTEM THAT WE AREN'T ABLE TO INCORPORATE INTO OUR OPERATING BUDGET. >> VERY GOOD.
