That the Board of Education approve the amended Negotiated Agreement between Caroline County Public Schools and the Caroline County Educators Association.

Since February, 2023, negotiating teams from CCPS and CCEA have worked collaboratively to negotiate amendments to the CCPS/CCEA Negotiated Agreement. A table agreement was reached on April 27, 2023 and the agreement was ratified by the CCEA membership on May 10, 2023.

That the Caroline County Board of Education approve the 2023 Educational Facilities Master Plan as required prior to its submittal to the Interagency Committee on School Construction (IAC).

The Rules, Regulations, and Procedures for the Administration of the School Construction Program require each LEA to annually submit or amend its school system’s Educational Facilities Master Plan. The master plan is a planning tool that deals with the LEA’s projected facility needs. The analysis and conclusions therein assists in the development of the Capital Improvement Plan.  The master plan must be submitted to the State by July 1, 2023.
