The regular Board meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. only for the purpose of voting to close its meeting pursuant to state government under the Open Meetings Act (General Provisions Article 3-305 (1) (9)) for the following reasons: (1) to discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom this public body has jurisdiction; any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals (9) to conduct collective bargaining negotiations or consider matters that relate to the negotiations.
The minutes for the March 2, 2021 Regular Board meeting, March 11, 2021 Closed Session, and March 16 Work Session will be presented for approval.

This contract is for the contractor to move the contents of the current Greensboro Elementary School to the new Greensboro Elementary School, 625 N Main Street, Greensboro, MD 21639. Contractor shall begin services on or about July 6, 2021, and complete the project by close of business on July 22, 2021. The funds associated with this project are provided for with local funds.
The bid process and procedures complied with Board policy and applicable state laws and regulations.

The assistant superintendent and directors will highlight their activities and events from last month.

Ms. Erin Thornton, Comptroller, will share pertinent financial information.
The Superintendent will update on the highlights and calls to action on current bills during the Maryland General Assembly sessions.
Ms. Jenn Yost, Supervisor of School Health Services, will provide a Wellness update to the Board.
Ms. Debbie Siachos, Supervisor of Human Resources, will give a presentation to the Board about Teacher retention efforts and communication.
The members of the Caroline County Board of Education desire to hear the views and have the advice of interested citizens. The public comment session is held at each Board meeting for that purpose.
