The Caroline County Board of Education will meet in open session at 5:00 p.m. on March 16, 2021 only for the purpose of voting to close its meeting pursuant to state government under the Open Meetings Act (General Provisions Article 3-305 (1)) for the following reasons:
(1) To discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom this public body has jurisdiction; any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals.
Board Work Session will begin at 6 p.m.
This award provides all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for, and incidental to, providing additional business/enterprise class internet access service with 1 gbps symmetrical bandwidth capacity with at least 30 static, publicly accessible, IP addresses for CCPS’ WAN use. CCPS intends for this Additional Bandwidth ISP contract to provide ongoing supplemental ISP services via a physical fiber path that provides diversification from the Primary ISP’s network to prevent downtime in the event of an outage. This Additional Bandwidth ISP will ensure an alternative physical and logical internet path in the event the existing ISP experiences a physical fiber cut or hardware failure. CCPS intends to seek E-Rate reimbursement for all E-Rate eligible products and services provided under this contract. The funds associated with this project are provided for in the unrestricted operating budget.
